The ground-breaking WAGABOX® technology, developed and patented by Waga Energy, removes the technological and industrial obstacles to converting landfill gas from waste storage sites into biomethane.
This innovative solution, which is now being deployed on a large scale thanks to an industrialised standardised product model, offers optimum economic, energy and environmental performance, and can be adapted to both small and large landfill sites.
Producing over 98% pure biomethane, WAGABOX® purification units make it possible to inject renewable gas directly into gas distribution networks, thereby replacing fossil natural gas and considerably reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Waga Energy always considers the safety and quality of its processes to be paramount and develops its business on the basis of innovation and continuous improvement, as part of a process of international certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISCC EU standards, obtained in 2023.
Our R&D engineers continuously optimise the production of biomethane and the productivity of the solution, by increasing the skills of our international teams and monitoring the hundreds of performance sensors installed on fully automated and remotely controlled WAGABOX® units in operation.
This policy of continuous innovation also makes our production costs more competitive, underpinning our ambition to produce biomethane at a price comparable to biomethane all over the world, in order to accelerate the energy transition against a backdrop of urgent climate change.
