Mathieu graduated as an engineer from École Centrale Marseille and spent eleven years working for the Air Liquide Group, where he developed the biogas business and contributed to the first biogas to biomethane projects in France. In 2015, he co-founded the Waga Energy Group together with Nicolas Paget and Guénaël Prince, which uses unique technology for producing biomethane - clean, renewable and local energy - from biogas emanating from waste storage sites. In addition to his role as Chairman of Waga Energy, Mathieu Lefebvre works to develop the biomethane sector, in particular through the National Biogas Committee, set up by the public authorities in 2015.

Guénaël Prince is co-founder of Waga Energy, Managing Director of Waga Energy USA, Group Technical and R&D Director. A triple graduate (ParisTech, Grenoble IAE, IFP School), Guénaël Prince began his career at Sofregaz. Four years later he joined Air Liquide between 2010 and 2015, where he contributed to the development of the biogas purification business. That’s where he met Mathieu Lefebvre and Nicolas Paget, both engineers specialising in renewable gases. The three set up Waga Energy in 2015, a pioneering company and leader in converting biogas from household waste into biomethane. Guénaël Prince heads up the Group's R&D business and, since 2019, manages its US subsidiary.

Arnaud Delattre is an agricultural engineer with considerable experience in setting up businesses. Arnaud has held a number of management positions in companies such as Boston Consulting Group, Saresco, and Christofle. Before founding Starquest Capital in 2008, Arnaud Delattre was a Business Angel for five years, investing in 12 companies with an IRR of 13.8%. Starquest Capital is an investment fund that specialises in supporting start-ups with a strong environmental impact.

Stéphane Assuied is a chartered accountant with a master's degree in taxation. He began his career in 1989, as an auditor with Price Waterhouse before joining the ONET Group, first as part of the overhaul of the Group's information systems and then as head of external growth operations in the industrial cleaning, security and temporary employment sectors. In 2003, he took charge of Interfirm M&A. He set up the Jericho investment company in 2005, before co-founding Tertium in 2012, a development-capital fund designed to support the growth of regional businesses by strengthening their equity and ensuring their continuity by organising their transmission.

Marie Bierent holds an engineering degree from Mines de Douai and an MSC in Environmental Engineering and Business Management from Imperial College London. With several years' experience in the environment and landfill sectors, as well as in international development, she is co-manager of Les Saules, a holding company that invests in the environment sector, and a shareholder in the Company. Marie is involved in the activities of the executive committee, strategy and representation of Les Saules and oversees operations and the application of shareholder policy.

Anne Lapierre is a lawyer and partner in charge of the energy department at Norton Rose Fulbright in Paris. Anne is also co-head of the Casablanca office and the firm's global practice (1,000 lawyers dedicated to the energy sector in 56 offices worldwide). Anne Lapierre focuses her practice on the development of infrastructure and energy projects, both conventional and renewable. Over the course of her career, Anne has worked with clients on a number of innovative and ground-breaking projects in France, Northwest Africa and French-speaking Africa. She has developed particular expertise in solar and wind energy, advising developers and industrial clients as well as banks and investment funds.

Dominique Gruson, a graduate of Ecole Centrale Paris, worked for Air Liquide for 31 years in various positions, mainly in management. He is now a consultant for a management consultancy and co-director of a company specialising in costume jewellery. Dominique is an independent director of the Company.

Olivier Aubert is a civil engineer with over 25 years' experience in the gas and electricity sector. After 15 years in management positions in international business development, in 2012, he became deputy CEO of GRTgaz, the French natural gas transmission system operator. He has been leading the development of biomethane injection in France since 2012, and launched France's first power-to-gas project (Jupiter 1000). In 2019, he founded SWEN Impact Fund for Transition (SWIFT), the first private equity fund dedicated to the production and distribution of biomethane in Europe, which since 2019 has financed investments in more than 250 biomethane production and distribution facilities currently being produced, built or developed in 12 European countries

Christilla de Moustier is a partner in the Fremman Capital investment fund, a member of the investment committee and responsible for ESG. Christilla has 30 years' professional experience, including 23 years in the private equity industry. Before joining Fremman in 2021, Christilla spent 10 years as an independent consultant, supporting and advising private equity firms on investor relations and fundraising. She previously spent 12 years at PAI Partners, where she was head of investor relations. Christilla also spent two years as an auditor with Arthur Andersen and four years as a business lawyer with Archibald Andersen. Christilla is a graduate of ESCP Europe, holds a Master's degree in Law and the Certificat d'Aptitude à la Profession d'Avocat (CAPA), and is an auditor of the Session Politique de Défense de l'IHEDN.

Séverine Adami is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Air Liquide's Innovation and Development division and Managing Director of ALIAD. Séverine has 20 years' professional experience in industry and consulting. Before joining Air Liquide in 2016, she spent eight years at Lafarge in strategy and business development, M&A and finance roles, mainly in emerging geographies. Previously, Séverine spent 10 years as a strategy and management consultant (Bossard-Gemini Consulting, Kea & Partners), working more specifically on sales and marketing issues in international contexts. She is a graduate of the Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon and INSEAD.

Anna Creti is a full professor at Paris Dauphine University, where she heads the Climate Economics Chair (Dauphine University) and the Natural Gas Economics Chair (Dauphine University, Toulouse School of Economics, IFPEN, Ecole des Mines). She is also a research fellow at the École Polytechnique, Paris, and affiliated to the Siebel Institute, Berkeley. She is a member of the Scientific and Expert Committee of the Observatoire de la Finance Durable, the ACPR AMF Finance Durable Working Group, the ACPR-Banque de France Scientific Committee and the Scientific Committee of the Ambition Climat project at Caisse des Dépôts. Anna Creti holds a PhD from the Toulouse School of Economics and a postdoc from the London School of Economics. She has also conducted in-depth studies of the competition and regulation of public services in Europe, as well as the link between energy, climate and environmental regulation. Co-editor of the journal Energy Economics, Anna Creti is regularly published in the leading economic journals and also appears in a number of media.

Christophe Guillaume is an agricultural engineer from LaSalle Beauvais. As Managing Director of Noria, he is involved on a daily basis in project management and in supporting and monitoring the companies in the Eco-Energy division, working closely with their directors.

A materials engineer with a degree from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), Nicolas gained experience in major industrial projects at Technip. He then joined Air Liquide, where he was involved in the design and construction of France's first biogas purification units. Together with Mathieu Lefebvre and Guénaël Prince, two of the Group's engineers who, like him, are committed to the energy transition, he looks for a simple, cost-effective way to purify biogas from landfill sites - a resource that is still not widely exploited - and extract biomethane from it. The technological solution, a world first, led to the creation of Waga Energy in 2015. At this fast-growing company, Nicolas Paget oversees the design and construction of the biogas purification units, which produce high-quality biomethane.

Marie-Amélie is responsible for the administrative and financial management of Waga Energy. A graduate of Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM), she was previously financial controller for the Rio Tinto mining group and for CEA.

An Arts et Métiers Paris Tech engineer, Guillaume is responsible for the operation and maintenance of WAGABOX® units. He was previously in charge of maintenance for oil installations for the Doris Engineering group.

An engineering graduate of Polytech Clermont, Caroline is responsible for manufacturing WAGABOX® units from design to commissioning. She was previously responsible for coordinating the maintenance teams at Air Liquide Médical Belgium.

With a PhD in energy from Centrale Supélec, Antonio heads the team responsible for the design and continuous improvement of WAGABOX® units, technology watch and new product development. He previously worked on the development of gas separation processes at Air Liquide, after starting his career at PSA Peugeot Citroën.

With a master's degree in Journalism from Université Grenoble Alpes and a master's degree in history from Rennes 2 University, Laurent is in charge of communications, press relations and financial communications. He was previously editorial director of a communications agency, after starting his career as a business journalist.

A lawyer specialising in business law, Delphine practised in a law firm for 10 years before joining the corporate world. After working in the healthcare sector, she joined Waga Energy to take charge of regulatory and legal issues.

A graduate of ENSGTI and HEC Paris, Vincent is responsible for developing Waga Energy's business in Europe. He previously worked on renewable energy projects for GRDF, Engie and GEG.

A specialist in structuring and financing complex and innovative projects to support the energy transition. After starting her career at Société Générale, Francesca joined Green Giraffe in 2012, first in Paris and then in Hamburg, where she structured the financing of two offshore wind farm projects. Francesca is of Italian and New Zealand origin and holds a master's degree in economics and finance from Paris Dauphine and the Victoria Unit in Wellington.

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, Lucie is responsible for marketing the biomethane produced by the WAGABOX® units and for energy procurement. She joined Waga Energy after 13 years with Air Liquide, working on hydrogen and biomethane issues.

Martin holds a master's degree in QHSE and is responsible for Waga Energy's Quality, Safety and Environment policy. He defines, adapts and improves it in line with the general strategy and the company's external and internal challenges. He was previously in charge of QHSE actions and strategies at a waste incineration site.

Will Llewellyn has been at the heart of the United Kingdom biogas and biomethane sector since 2009. Working in technical and commercial roles to board level, Will has a fundamental understanding of the nuances associated with biogas, landfill gas and biomethane markets. Will has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and French at the University of Manchester, and during his studies, spent a year in France studying carbon sequestration in deep oceans. Prior to working in the renewable energy sector, Will spent 10 years as a shipbroker in the City of London transporting refined oil products and liquid biofuels throughout North West Europe. The combination of Will’s fundamental technical understanding of the biomethane sector combined with his proven commercial and strategic acumen honed in the shipping and UK biogas sectors is put to good use in the development of the UK and Irish landfill gas to biomethane markets with Waga Energy.

During her 15 years with Air Liquide, between 2006 and 2021, Julie developed cutting-edge expertise in biogas and hydrogen engineering. This chemical engineer, a graduate of McGill University - where she also taught - has long been convinced of how incredibly useful renewable gases are in the energy transition. She joined Waga Energy in 2021, as head of the Group's Canadian subsidiary. Julie actively promotes the role of women in engineering through the Canadian Women in Engineering movement.

Baptiste Usquin, CEO of Waga Energy Spain. Mr Usquin holds a master's degree in management from Neoma Business School and a master's degree in water management from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. Mr Usquin began his career in Spain, in an industrial company specialising in roof tiles, and later began his career in the energy sector, joining the Electrabel group (now part of ENGIE) in Paris in 2008. He then moved to Barcelona to join Aguas de Barcelona in 2010. He held a number of positions there, initially as Energy Contract Manager, before being appointed Energy Product Manager from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, Mr Usquin took up a global position as Category Manager within Suez's Purchasing Department in Paris. Since August 2021, Mr Usquin has been CEO of Waga Energy in Spain, an industrial gas company that has developed a unique technology for converting landfill biogas into biomethane. This technology provides local, circular and accessible energy.

Andrea Baldini is the CEO of Waga Energy Italia. He is a passionate and goal-oriented professional, with over a decade of experience in business development and marketing in the international renewable energy and environmental services market. As an enthusiastic and open-minded environmentalist, he focuses on achieving the company’s objectives while taking into account the sustainable and ethical values of the individual and the company. He holds a master’s degree in commercial marketing and business strategies from the University of Parma. He began his experience with a ten-year journey in international sales of biogas and pollutant emission storage systems, acting as a reference between the company and customers. After this experience, he became the coordinator of the sales team of an EPC company involved in the construction of biogas plants and competent in the international market. Finally, he challenged himself as CEO of the Italian branch of Waga Energy, striving to develop the market and structure the company’s presence in Italy. Business planning and strategy, marketing concepts, positioning, personnel management, territory management, competitive analysis, product development, customer relations, and contract management are skills that he constantly strives to improve throughout his career. “Waga Energy represents the inspiration of ecological, ethical values and clean technology that drive him."
