Waga Energy has taken out a €12 million, 13.5-year bank loan with BNP Paribas and the Crédit Agricole Group. This financing is intended to refinance four WAGABOX® units located at Montois-La-Montagne (Moselle), Éteignières (Ardennes), Cusset (Allier) and Granges (Saône-et-Loire).
The funds will be used to repay the debt associated with the construction of these units, as well as to strengthen the Group’s cash position. This initiative reinforces our ability to innovate and invest in new projects for more accessible green energy. The terms of this new debt testify to the banks’ confidence in our strategy and our business model, which generates regular and predictable cash flows.
“Since the beginning of 2024, Waga Energy has secured over €175 million ($182 million) of debt under conditions that demonstrate the banks’ confidence in our strategy and business model, which generates regular and predictable cash flows. We would like express our sincerest thanks to BNP Paribas and the Crédit Agricole Group for their participation in this financing project and their long-standing support”
Jean-Michel Thibaud, Deputy CEO and CFO of Waga Energy.
