A graduate of École Polytechnique and ENSTA Paris, Luc Rémont began his career in 1993 as an engineer at the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA), where he worked on the development of Earth observation satellites. From 1996 to 2007, he held various positions at the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, notably supervising relations with international financial institutions and state-owned enterprises. He served as Technical Advisor and then Deputy Chief of Staff to the Ministers from 2002 to 2007.
In 2007, Luc Rémont joined the private sector at Merrill Lynch, before becoming Country Executive and Managing Director of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in France in 2009. In 2014, he became President of Schneider Electric France, and was then appointed Executive Vice President of International Operations in 2017.
In November 2022, Luc Rémont was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EDF, the global leader in low-carbon electricity. During two and a half years at the helm of the Group, he led EDF's operational and financial turnaround in the context of the European energy crisis. After leaving EDF at the end of his term in May 2025, he has been developing activities in the fields of decarbonization technologies, electricity and digital.

Mathieu Lefebvre completed engineering studies at École Centrale Marseille and spent 11 years with the Air Liquide Group where he developed the biogas business and contributed to France’s first methanation projects. He co-founded Waga Energy Group in 2015 with Nicolas Paget and Guénaël Prince. Waga Energy utilizes innovative technology to generate renewable natural gas, a clean, renewable, and locally sourced energy, from biogas emitted from landfills. Mr. Lefebvre, the Chairman of Waga Energy, also works to develop the renewable natural gas sector through the National Biogas Committee.

Guénaël Prince is Co-Founder of Waga Energy, Managing Director of Waga Energy USA, Group Technical and R&D Director. Following his studies at Arts&Métiers ParisTech, Grenoble IAE and IFP School, Guénaël began his career at Sofregaz. Four years later, Guénaël joined Air Liquide, where he contributed to the development of its biogas purification business. In 2015, Guénaël Prince, Mathieu Lefebvre, and Nicolas Paget established Waga Energy: a leader in converting biogas from household waste into renewable natural gas. Mr. Prince leads the company’s R&D activities and has been managing the U.S. subsidiary since 2019.

Philippe was appointed Sonepar CEO in September 2017. Prior to joining Sonepar, he spent 17 years working for the United Technologies Group, a Down Jones company leader in the global building and aerospace industries, which includes Otis, Carrier, Pratt & Whitney, and UTC Aerospace. His last position before joining Sonepar was global President, Otis Elevator Company, based in the USA. He was a member of UTC Executive Committee and an UTC Corporate Officer. Philippe began his career at ABB and Danfoss where he held various sales, marketing and operations leadership roles. He joined UTC in November 2000 as Vice President of Carrier's European, Middle East and African business. He led building related businesses including Toshiba Carrier Air Conditioning, Carrier Asia Pacific, Carrier and UTC Fire & Security for EMEA and Asia Pacific. During his career at United Technologies, Philippe held positions in USA, France, Japan, China, and Belgium. Philippe graduated from Mechanical Engineering School in France (ENIT), an undergraduate degree from INSEAD Asia Campus, and an MBA from ESCP Europe Campus Paris. He also graduated from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business (USA).

Neil H. Smith is a distinguished executive with over 35 years of experience driving high-growth businesses across the global energy, renewables, and infrastructure sectors. Most recently, he served as CEO of Vanguard Renewables, a premier North American developer specializing in the conversion of organic waste into renewable natural gas (RNG) and low-carbon fertilizer.
Previously, as a founding member and CEO of InterGen, Inc., Mr. Smith directed the financing, construction, and operation of a global portfolio exceeding $15 billion in capital investment, encompassing over 20 GW of power generation and critical infrastructure.
A seasoned board professional, he currently serves as Chairman of Leeward Energy and Director at Capital Power (TSE:CPX), following prior board tenures at PJM Interconnection and The Wood Group PLC (LSE:WG). His extensive background combines deep operational RNG expertise with a proven track record in large-scale international project development.

Patrick Jaslowitzer is a Managing Director at EQT Partners. He joined the firm in 2016. He is currently Head of EQT Infrastructure France. Patrick has extensive sector expertise, with a particular focus on the environmental, industrial and transport sectors. He has been involved in key investments including Saur, the global water services provider; Trescal, the largest global independent owner and operator of calibration laboratories; and Unilode, the global leader in management and maintenance of unit load devices (ULDs) for the aviation industry. Before joining EQT, Patrick worked at McKinsey as a consultant. Patrick holds a Doctorate in Economics from Philipps-Universität Marburg as well as a Master’s degree in International Business from HEC Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München.

Noura Loukil joined EQT Partners in April 2022 as part of the Infrastructure team, where she focuses on the origination and execution of deals in the Energy & Environmental sector, with a strong emphasis on energy transition opportunities. She is a member of the asset management team and serves as a Board observer for Saur, the global water services company. Before joining EQT, Noura was an M&A Associate at Lazard in Paris. She holds an MSc in Corporate Finance & Banking from EDHEC Business School.

Anne Lapierre is a lawyer and renowned energy market expert. Anne Lapierre focuses her practice on the development of infrastructure projects and both conventional and renewable energies. Over the course of her career, Anne has accompanied her clients on numerous innovative and ground-breaking projects in France, North Africa and French-speaking Africa. In particular, she has developed a particularly sharp expertise in solar and wind energy, advising developers and industrialists as well as banks and investment funds. Before joining Bracewell, Anne worked for over 20 years in an international law firm, where she headed the global energy practice and co-managed the Casablanca office.

Anne de Bagneux has held leadership positions in the environment, mobility, and energy sectors. Until the end of 2023, she was the president of Antargaz, a company that supplies liquid gas in France and the Benelux region. Previously, she was the deputy CEO of Transdev France and then the director of strategy and transformation for the Transdev Group, serving on the executive committee. She spent the first twenty years of her career in the environmental sector (water, waste), notably at Veolia, and many years in Asia.

Maï de La Rochefordière is an independent director and strategic advisor with 30 years of expertise in finance, governance, and international development. During her tenure at Orange Group, she held senior leadership roles covering global expansion, investment and financing, and investor relations.
She brings extensive experience in financing growth-oriented business units and private equity. Her dual mastery of operational financial management and strategic oversight is a significant asset for organizations navigating complex scaling phases.
As an experienced board member across diverse sectors, Ms. de La Rochefordière frequently serves on Audit Committees. Her deep understanding of capital markets and cross-border transactions provides a robust framework for driving sustainable value and ensuring rigorous corporate governance.

Asís Echániz is a Partner at EQT Partners. He joined the firm in 2017 to lead the expansion of the Iberian platform and was appointed Partner in 2020. He is currently Head of Spain and Head of EQT Transition Infrastructure Europe.Asís has extensive sector expertise, with a particular focus on the energy & environmental and transport & logistics sectors. He has been involved in key investments including Zelestra (formerly Solarpack), the international renewable energy company; Saur, the global water services provider; and Ju:niz Energy, an established developer in the growing German BESS market. Prior to this, he led EQT’s efforts in the European transport & logistics sector.Before joining EQT, Asís worked at KKR in the Private Equity and Infrastructure teams, following earlier roles at J.P. Morgan in Investment Banking and Arthur D. Little as a consultant.He holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and London Business School (Rafael del Pino scholar), and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from ICAI Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.

Between 2006 and 2021, Julie Flynn developed cutting-edge expertise in biogas and hydrogen engineering at Air Liquide. A chemical engineer with degrees from Université Laval and McGill University, she has long been convinced of the eminent role of renewable gases in the energy transition. She joined Waga Energy in 2021, as Director of the Group's Canadian subsidiary. Julie actively promotes the role of women in engineering and renewable energies.

Baptiste Usquin, CEO of Waga Energy Spain, holds a master's degree in management from Neoma Business School and a master's degree in water management from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. Mr. Usquin began his career in Spain with an industrial company specializing in roof tiles, and later began his career in the energy sector, joining the Electrabel group (now part of ENGIE) in Paris in 2008. He subsequently joined Aguas de Barcelona, where he held a number of positions, initially as energy contract manager and later energy product manager. In 2017, Mr. Usquin took a global position as category manager within Suez's purchasing department in Paris. Since August 2021, Mr. Usquin has been CEO of Waga Energy in Spain, an industrial gas company that has developed unique technology for converting landfill biogas into biomethane.

Will Llewellyn has been at the heart of the United Kingdom biogas and Renewable Natural Gas sector since 2009. Working in technical and commercial roles to board level, Will has a fundamental understanding of the nuances associated with biogas, landfill gas and biomethane markets. Will has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and French at the University of Manchester, and during his studies, spent a year in France studying carbon sequestration in deep oceans.
Prior to working in the renewable energy sector, Will spent 10 years as a shipbroker in the City of London transporting refined oil products and liquid biofuels throughout North West Europe. The combination of Will’s fundamental technical understanding of the biomethane sector combined with his proven commercial and strategic acumen honed in the shipping and UK biogas sectors is put to good use in the development of the UK and Irish landfill gas to biomethane markets with Waga Energy.

Andrea Baldini, CEO of Waga Energy Italy, is a passionate, goal-oriented professional with more than a decade's experience in business development and marketing in international renewable energy and environmental services. An enthusiastic and open-minded environmentalist, he focuses on achieving company objectives while considering the sustainable and ethical values of the individual and the company. With a master's degree in commercial marketing and business strategy from the University of Parma, he began his career with 10 years in international sales of biogas and harmful emission storage systems, acting as a liaison between the company and its customers. Later, he was coordinator of the sales team of an EPC company involved in the construction of biogas plants. As the leader of Waga Energy in Italy, he develops all aspects of the company's presence, from business planning and strategy to marketing, personnel management, territory management, competitive analysis, and more.
