Waga Energy recently announced the appointment of Yann Pierre as Group Chief Commercial Officer, effective August 19, 2024. Reporting to Mathieu Lefebvre, CEO, Yann Pierre will oversee all commercial activities of the company, including business development, biomethane sales, contract management, and marketing. His primary mission will be to accelerate Waga Energy’s international expansion.
Yann Pierre is an engineer and a graduate of Polytech Nancy, with recognized expertise in the field of biomethane and waste-to-energy on a global scale. With twenty years of experience, he has played a key role in more than 300 biomethane production projects across Europe and North America. Among his notable achievements is the first French project to inject biomethane from food waste, in the Lille region.
With Yann Pierre’s arrival, Waga Energy strengthens its ambition to become a global leader in the biomethane sector, relying on solid expertise and a strategic vision focused on international growth.
