Waga Energy is set to relocate its headquarters to an 8,000 square meters building in Eybens, south of Grenoble, southeastern France. From February, this will house its local staff and become an international center of excellence in the field of RNG, cryogenics and renewable gas.

Waga Energy will invest €10 million in the purchase and development of this building which will include 5,300 sq. m of office space and a 2,700 sq. m workshop for storing parts to maintain its production units. 10,000 sq. m of land will also be available for holding large items of equipment before they are delivered on site.

Waga Energy employs 150 people around the world, of whom 120 are based in France. Since 2020, a 900 sq. m building in Meylan to the west of Grenoble has served as its headquarters.

According to the company’s deputy CEO, Nicolas Paget:The acquisition of this building marks a new step in the roll-out of our strategic plan to initiate construction of around one hundred WAGABOX® units worldwide by 2026 to significantly help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is also a strong anchor for us in Grenoble’s world-renowned innovation ecosystem, home to unique know-how in cryogenic technology and renewable gas.
